Chase & Status announced as Saturday headliner for Cultivate, North of Scotland’s biggest electronic music festival

The North East of Scotland’s biggest electronic music festival, Cultivate, has announced that one of the most successful British bands of the last decade, Chase & Status, will headline the Saturday of this year’s September weekender edition.

Chase & Status have achieved widespread notoriety and universal respect for their achievements. Consummate professionals at every level, Will Kennard and Saul Milton, are contemporary vanguards of UK electronic music. Together they’ve channelled their deep-rooted passion for rave culture into five highly-acclaimed, best-selling albums, an incendiary live show and a wide range of projects that have established them as an iconic outfit.

They join a stellar cast of previously announced artists including Ben Hemsley, Partiboi69, Kettama, Simone, Effy and Lovefoxy.

With an unprecedented turnout over 5 events since 2021, Cultivate has quickly outgrown their original venue of Innoflate by Aberdeen beach and have now set their sights on a fully customised outdoor festival arena. The new site at Beach Linx, which is a short 15 minute walk from the city centre’s Union Street and the train station, will have three stages including a Big Top Main Stage, multiple bars, art installations, food trucks, a vintage market, fairground rides and a capacity of 3000+ music lovers per day. The festival this September 21st and 22nd will be their most ambitious yet, with a worldclass lineup of electronic DJs to rival any UK and European festival.

Rory Masson, Co-Festival Director, comments: We are beyond excited to welcome Chase & Status to Cultivate this year. Their energy and influence in the electronic music scene are unparalleled, and they are the perfect addition to our stellar lineup. This year’s festival will be our biggest and best yet, offering an unforgettable experience for all our attendees.”

Last remaining tickets go on sale this Friday 19th July at 10am here.
