The Pretty Reckless Put on a Phenomenal Live Concert at the Barrowland Ballroom

Barrowland Ballroom Glasgow 26th October 2022

Rock ‘n’ Roll, what a way to die! The Pretty Reckless could make you go out on a high and the crowd in Glasgow showed they weren’t ready to lie down just yet as the sold-out audience proved they were a force to be reckoned with.

The meteoric rise of Taylor Momsen has seen her career go from child model to actress and hardened rock star. From its first inception, The Pretty Reckless has been on a mission to bring its hard-hitting melodic alternative rock to the masses. The Barrowland Ballroom was sold out and the crowd was hungry for some rock ‘n’ roll and they got it!

The stripped-back classic rock band lineup provides the perfect backdrop for Momsen. She brings more than just looks to the band and her songwriting is evidence enough. The band’s back catalogue proves they have strength in depth with an abundance of quality songs to choose from.

“Fucked up World” is another great song with powerful lyrics. It’s about how nothing is perfect, but there are still good moments in life that should not be overlooked. So what you’re saying is we gotta get through this fucking world together? Taylor exclaims, which gets a cheer from the crowd.
