Legendary band Stereophonics have today been announced as the final headliners for Dundee’s first ever Summer Sessions on Sunday 12th June 2022. Festival lovers can pick up their tickets from 10am on Thursday 24th March via smmrsessions.com.

The Welsh rockers who have just celebrated their 25th year as one of the UK’s most enduring and loved bands, will bring their festival-ready show to Slessor Gardens to close out the debut Dundee Summer Sessions festival this June, much to the delight of music fans across Scotland.
The band returns to Scotland one more time to present their most popular tracks, and fans are in for a special treat as the band have just recently released their album new album ‘Oochya!’.
Oochya!’ follows Stereophonics’ previous album ‘Kind’, which went to number one in the UK album charts in 2019, outselling nearest competitor and became the band’s 7th UK Number One album in the process. With distorted question-and-answer vocals and scuzzed up guitars, the album nods back to fan favourites like ‘Bartender & the Thief’ and ‘Local Boy in the Photograph’.
Joining Stereophonics on Sunday 12th June will be Jake Bugg and Circa Waves.
After marking a new start with his fifth album ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning’, Jake Bugg is back with arguably his most complete and coherent record to date. With a sound which combines a love of ABBA, the Beach Boys, Supertramp and the Bee Gees, the Nottingham born singer-songwriter is sure to go down a treat at Dundee Summer Sessions on Sunday 12th June. Known for their nervy, melodic indie rock, Circa Waves also join the bill on Sunday 12th June at Slessor Gardens for the debut Dundee Summer Sessions.
