London-based artist Eloise releases her beautiful new track, ‘Intertwined’, out now. The 21-year-old talent has been busy touring, writing and honing her craft since her debut EP and today announces her dreamy debut mini-album, ‘Somewhere In-Between’, due on June 18th, pre-order here. The young yet timeless soul introduced her debut mini-album with the greatly-received track, ‘Hungover’, which earned her BBC Introducing Track of the Week and consistent plays on BBC Radio 1.
Eloise today launches ‘Intertwined’, a mellow, warm and immensely romantic single with a twist. The track envelops the listener in a dreamy and idealistic relationship, flowing alongside a sunny guitar riff, before uttering, “our time’s been and gone, but my heart won’t move on from you”. In Eloise’s own words, “‘Intertwined’ is really a love letter to the one that got away. It’s about reflecting on all the things you should or shouldn’t have done or said…And having an inappropriate amount of faith in it still all working out.”

Eloise has a rare ability for occupying and relaying the gruelling place somewhere between being in love and being broken-hearted, as she explains: “I feel my job is to write about all the ugly feelings: the things that are in-between fuck you songs and being in love songs”. ‘Somewhere In-Between’ is an incredibly raw and unguarded 9-track soundtrack to Eloise’s experiences between adolescence and adulthood, in and out of love, and represents a huge leap forward artistically for Eloise. Eloise has had enough incredible experiences to fill several lifetimes, and her uniquely fresh and contemporary voice means she undeniably stands out from the crowd.
Eloise explains of the album, “This mini album is my love letter to love and its woes. It’s mainly a collection of songs that I wrote from a place of hindsight, reflection and acceptance. A lot of the themes of this body of work are of longing and aching for yesterday and its possibilities, which, I reckon, is relatable to most people. I think that the different shades and angles of romance aren’t explored often enough. I want people to know that love is so messy and we don’t always get it right and that’s okay. We are all humans without a clue, trying to navigate staying happy and alive… And if you’re lucky, love is what happens in between.”
Capturing the hearts of many with her acclaimed debut EP ‘This Thing Called Living’, the EP now counts over 25 million streams. Eloise’s unique talent for beautifully delicate storytelling proved a very welcome breath of fresh air in the musical landscape of the time, translating the songs effortlessly into intoxicating live performances, she has toured extensively since the release of her debut and played over 100 shows.
