Today – Wednesday 4th February – burgeoning alt-pop singer songwriter Erin LeCount announces her new highly-anticipated EP, PAREIDOLIA, set for release on 27th February 2026 on Atlantic Records. The news follows the release of the critically and commercially acclaimed singles ‘I BELIEVE’, ‘MACHINE GHOST’, and ‘808 HYMN’, all of which will feature on the upcoming EP. Erin wrote, recorded, and produced PAREIDOLIA herself.
Speaking about the announcement, Erin LeCount said:
“PAREIDOLIA is a self written and produced EP that tells the story of a downwards spiral. The tale of falling down a rabbit hole, a willing return to self destruction. The true definition of “pareidolia” is “the tendency to perceive meaningful connections between unrelated things or ideas” eg. seeing shapes in clouds, or a face in the moon. It is a distorted, warped perspective of reality and of self, it’s the brains way of seeking familiar patterns that make us feel safe. I have lived vicariously through these songs the last year, crafting them in their intensity and heart and impulse, writing through that distorted lens and playing the unreliable, occasionally paranoid narrator over heavy synth basses, relentless live strings and synthetic shimmery harps.”
Erin’s most recent single, ‘I BELIEVE’, has already gained 1.5 million global streams in just three weeks since its release. This month, February 2026, Erin has been named as BBC Radio 1’s Future Artist of the Month.
In December 2025, Erin LeCount embarked upon her sensational UK and IE ‘La Lune Tour’, which saw her play to sold-out crowds in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Dublin, and London. In February 2026, Erin will take the ‘La Lune Tour’ tour to North America, where she will play cities including Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles. Erin LeCount is a 23-year-old self-taught artist and producer. A visionary sonic architect and the sole writer and producer of her music, her sound ranges from luscious baroque-pop arrangements to alluring gothic-pop. At the foreground of her music are diaristic lyrics and captivating synths which offer an enchanting interplay of vulnerability and power. The themes within her music explore everything from identity to relationships and the meaning of life. Erin’s influences include Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Lorde, Imogen Heap, Charli xcx, and Sampha.
