Stage times, travel, transport and more ahead of the debut edition With the debut edition of Otherlands Music & Arts Festival just a day away, here is everything you need to know ahead of its inaugural edition. What is Otherlands Music & Arts Festival? From 19 – 21 August, Otherlands will invite guests on a sensory journey into the idyllic grounds of Scone Palace. Over three days and five stages, Otherlands will showcase the best in cutting edge music, art and comedy, as well as industry panels, wellness retreats and so much more. |
Set Times
When does it open?
Otherlands’ campsite will be open from 12 noon Friday 19th August – 12 noon Friday 22nd August. On Friday 19th August, the main arena will be open from 4pm until 1am. On Saturday the main arena will be open from 12pm – 1am and on the third and final day, Sunday 21st August, the arena will be open from 12pm – 12am. Can I camp?
Access to Otherland’s standard campsite is included in all weekend tickets. If guests plan to stay off-site during the weekend a local residents wristband can be requested. As well as shower passes available for purchase in the general campsite, attendees can purchase Wellness Sanctuary pamper station passes which includes access to hot showers, changing facilities, mirrors, hairdryers & straighteners.
What should I wear?
Otherlands is a place where you can be free to express yourself, so wear whatever you like. However guests are asked to consider the unpredictable nature of Scottish weather and organisers recommend appropriate footwear and a waterproof jacket.
Where is it and how do I get there?
There will be some disruptions to travel with rail strikes this weekend and urge attendees to plan ahead. Limited train services will be running across the country on Thursday 18 Aug & Saturday 20 Aug.
Please plan accordingly if your travel plans have been disrupted, many bus routes are available via Megabus & Flixbus to Perth. Organisers will have a shuttle bus service running from Perth Bus Station to the Otherlands gates Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
Shuttle Bus Times:
Friday 19th: 11:30am – 2am
Saturday 20th: 11:30am – 2am
Sunday 21st: 11:30 – 2am
Monday 22nd: 7am- 12pm
There will also be space for car parking, as well as drop-off and pick-up points on site, however organisers ask guests to please consider the environmental impact of this mode of transport and consider taking the train or bus instead.

Cash or Card?
Otherlands will operate a cashless site, including all bars and food traders who will only accept contactless payments or chip and pin.
