Whilst Alabama 3 prepare for their UK tour later this month, South London friends Fat White Family have remixed The Lord Stepped In (Taking Back Control), with 7-minutes of deep, psychedelic techno that builds back better than any new government plan seen yet.

In the words of Larry Love: “C’mon and torture yourself with the dark reality at the heart of Alabama 3….. a grubby and sweating fat white family whose agenda for horror abounding lies replicating in the Petri dish in the corner. This is a subsonic/moronic musical journey into the slime side of life …. A perfect accompaniment to these dubious times. We are taking back control….. thank god the Lord stepped in”.

The original track, found on their recent album Step 13, is a nod to the bizarreness of Brexit where Alabama 3 like to imagine a dystopian society where we’re all actually jacking up bleach. Fat White Family have made it even darker for the dancefloor with a nod to the party they will bring across this tour.

Step 13, released last September, was recorded in Lockdown with producer Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, Jack Savoretti, Tom Walker, Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes) and available at via Submarine Cat Records.
