GARBAGE ANNOUNCE 2026 PERFORMANCE AT EDINBURGH CASTLE

TICKETS ON-SALE FRIDAY 5 DECEMBER AT 10AM

Today, Garbage announces a special performance at Edinburgh Castle.

The final headliner for the 2026 series is Garbage who will play at the iconic venue on Saturday 11 July. Tickets go on sale on Friday 5 December at 10am local time.

Formed in 1993 in Madison, Wisconsin, the Scottish-American band made up of Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson and Steve Marker have achieved massive worldwide success and sold millions of albums across the globe.

Three decades of music has seen them release eight studio albums and hits such as “Queer”“Only Happy When It Rains”“Stupid Girl” and the James Bond theme “The World Is Not Enough”.

The band’s eighth studio album Let All That We Imagine Be The Light, released earlier this year, was expansive, explosive and was released to a rapturous response, with some calling it their best album since their debut.

Garbage’s show at Edinburgh Castle is part of the band’s year-long return to performing, having done shows across North America, New Zealand and Australia this year, with dates across the UK in 2026.

Shirley Manson said: “Bringing my band home for what most likely will be our last headline show in Scotland, feels both poignant and triumphant. It’s a full circle moment for me and it means the world. To be asked to grace the stage with Edinburgh Castle as our backdrop will be, without doubt, one of the greatest honours of my professional career”.

Tickets for the concert go on sale on Friday 5 December from Ticketmaster.co.uk at 10am. Premium hospitality experiences for the concert series at Edinburgh Castle are available from Seatunique.com.

Please note tickets are NOT available from Edinburgh Castle.
