GLASGOW PUNKS THE RIOT VANS SIGN TO DISOBEDIENT RECORDS AND ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE

Glasgow punk rockers The Riot Vans are pleased to announce they have signed to Disobedient Records and will release their new single ‘Scary Faces’ on 21st May.

Commenting on the track, the band said: “‘Scary faces’ is effectively an amalgamation of things we thought sounded cool.”

Serving up a tasty new recipe for punk rock, The Riot Vans are a four-piece from Glasgow in Scotland with some seriously infectious songwriting credentials. The band’s last release ‘Scotrail’s Stealing All My Money’ is an audio attack at ScotRail’s extortionate ticket prices, while ‘Memory Lane’ is spoken word hooliganism at its best.

Starting out in 2017, their relentless enthusiasm and boundless energy is the perfect antidote to the drudgery of life under lockdown – a very, very bright shining light for 2021 at the end of what’s been a long tunnel.

Pre-pandemic, the band played numerous sold-out gigs throughout Scotland at the O2 Academy, O2 ABC, Broadcast, Room 2, Classic Grand, Church, Opium and Cabaret Voltaire.

‘Scary Faces’ is out on 21st May via Disobedient Records
