Green Day have today announced details of a deluxe edition of their UK Number 1, 2024 album Saviors. Saviors (édition de luxe) is released on 23rd May and the first new track from the album, Smash It Like Belushi is out now.
Green Day return to the UK to headline Download Festival on 13th June, before a run of headline dates and festival shows in Europe. Visit the band’s website for more information on Green Day’s 2025 tour dates.
A year into their Grammy-nominated Saviors era—one that’s reignited the music world and taken the Coachella stage by storm, Green Day show no signs of slowing down. Saviors (édition de luxe) includes seven new bonus tracks: the explosive Smash It Like Belushi, Fuck Off, Ballyhoo and Underdog. A reflective Stay Young, as well as acoustic renditions of Suzie Chapstick and Father to a Son are also included on the album.
Saviors is Green Day’s 14th studio album, yet somehow this enduring power trio – Billie Joe Armstrong, Tré Cool & Mike Dirnt, remain devoted to their defiant craft, that has fuelled their career-long destruction of every boundary bestowed on the genre, and landed three East Bay punks in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.
Saviors was recorded in both London and Los Angeles under the audacious ear and rock prowess of Green Day’s longtime friend & collaborator, GRAMMY® Award-winning producer Rob Cavallo.
