As the fans flocked through the gates you could see that they were all in full party mood and ready for three days of music and entertainment. Those who were attending had to prove they were negative for COVID and taken a lateral flow test prior to attending this certainly didn’t dampen the mood or put anyone off from attending as its been such a long 18 months since anyone attended an outdoor event and a feeling of being deprived of music gigs and festival for so long this was going to be one big party.

Headlining the festival over the three days were The Courteeners, Liam Gallagher, and The Chemical Brothers other sets included Primal Scream, Keane, Twin Atlantic, and KSI, and many more.

The weather was predicted to be wet and muddy, however, it was the opposite and as the Sun shone on the main stage where Bono of U2 son Elijah Hewson with the Inhalers performed on the main stage and joy to all the revelers.

Many stages were mapped around the park with having plenty of bars to purchase drinks and food stalls dotted around for plenty for everyone to grab a Beer or a Pizza or Fish n Chips (Yes they were tasted and one of the best Fish n Chips tasted in a long time)

King Tut’s Stage was a very popular venue where at times it was that busy the security had to stop revelers entering the areas for their safety. It was busy mostly when ‘Becky Hill was about to perform.

Becky Hill is certainly going to be the Main Stage on the next occasion along with GRIFF who was outstanding and mentioned that it was her first-ever live performance in Scotland. On the main stage this year the crowds were set to separate left and right which was very well organised with lots of room for safety officials and security to act quickly if required, this also enabled more interactions with the fans who had a great view of the acts on the main stage.
