Fresh from a sunshine-filled weekend of music celebrating the 2021 event, Festival organisers have today announced the line-up for the 2022 cinch presents the Isle of Wight Festival. The event is due to take place over 16th – 19th June in Seaclose Park.

Headlining the Main Stage are Lewis Capaldi, Lionel Richie, Kasabian, Pete Tong & the Heritage Orchestra presents Ibiza Classics conducted by Jules Buckley and Muse

Also performing over the weekend are Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Blossoms, Rudimental, Tom Grennan, Sigrid, Craig David Presents TS5, The Vaccines, Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott, Shaggy, Happy Mondays, Mavis Staples, UB40 ft Ali Campbell & Astro, The Proclaimers and The Coral, with more names to be announced in time.

The 2021 Festival was a long time coming. With no event in June 2020 or June 2021, fans were itching to get back to the island and experience all the Festival had to offer, and it didn’t disappoint. Liam Gallagher’s swaggeringly suave Friday headline performance and Snow Patrol’s singalong set; David Guetta’s body-shaking, bass vibrating party and Duran Duran’s triumphant Main Stage closing display; Tom Jones, Sam Fender, All Saints, The Script, Maisie Peters, Becky Hill, Kashmir Cafe, Electro Love, Hipshaker, the Kid Zone and everything in between. Revellers basked in sunshine, soaked up the Festival atmosphere and enjoyed that intangible live music feeling.

Festival promoter John Giddings, said: We couldn’t have asked for a better return to the island this year: we had sunshine all weekend and some fantastic performances. We’re already looking ahead to next year and the artists announced today can’t wait to come and entertain us over 16th – 19th June 2022.
