New Baltimore, MI – During one of the coldest spells to hit Michigan in a longtime. With a possibility of breaking a new record of consecutive days below 20 degrees. The record was originally set in 1936 with 11 consecutive days below 20 and tied in 1979.

However, this did not stop many of the fans to come out to the Diesel Concerts Detroit on a cold January 6th evening to see some great bands. Playing at Diesel were two bands that have growing in popularity, in my opinion. All that can be said, is this team up made for a good night of Detroit music. We are talking Detroit’s own No Resolve and Vancouver, Canada’s own Veer Union. If you have not hear of, either of these bands, I suggest you look them up
Or better yet, go out and see them.

No Resolve got the crowd warmed, in no time, by starting the crow of right. The band played tracks from their 2017 album called Unity. Songs like Wake up, Love Me to Death and The Pusher. Band members Oscar James Pegorraro (Vocals), Jason Hatmaker (Guitar), Matty Shea (Guitar), Derek Bjornson (Drums), and Dennis Patterson (Bass). By the end of the eight song set, it was was going to interesting to see if Veer Union could top this.

Before Veer Union hit the stage, the lights went dim and there was a blue light hovering the stage. As the music began to start, the stage lights went from blue to color lights flashing lights. The Vancouver,BC natives did everything they could to entertain the crowd. The only slight hiccup, was when a drum head had to be tighten. But that did slow the momentum of the show.

Below are the images from the January 6,2018 show at the Diesel Concerts Detroit in New Baltimore, MI show. If you get a chance to see either bands you should because you will not be disappointed.
