Irish queen of disco Róisín Murphy joined Scottish fans on the banks of the Clyde tonight as she brought Riverside Festival 2022 to an ethereal close. Following on from the previous days’ headliners Charlotte De Witte and Carl Cox, the former Moloko vocalist transformed the grounds of Glasgow’s Riverside Museum into one vibrant dancefloor with her revered live show, complete with incredible visuals, costumes and dancing. Riverside Festival also collaborated with Shoot Your Shot which saw a brilliant celebration of club culture and unity with the LGBTQ community.

Mark Mackechnie, Festival Director, said: “This weekend has cemented the ninth edition of Riverside Festival as one of the best yet. Fans, artists and organisers alike will agree it’s been a great vibe from start to finish. We’re particularly proud of this year’s lineup. Across three days and three stages there’s been a really good mix of acts, with plenty flying the flag for Scotland’s own scene at the Satellite Stage.”

This weekend’s event saw the festival take place in May for the first time since 2019 with an eclectic array of over 60 artists including Robert HoodJoseph Capriati and festival curators Slam.
