Otherlands Music & Arts Festival announce first names for 2023 

Overmono, Hudson Mohawke, Floorplan, HAAi, Jyoty, Nia Archives and many more featuring at the boutique Scottish event

Otherlands Music & Arts Festival has today revealed the first names for this year’s event, which will take place from 11-13 August at Scone Palace, the Category A-listed historic house near the city of Perth. The three-day camping retreat of music, art and culture features the best acts in live and electronic music across five stages.

Hugely popular UK club/garage duo Overmono will perform live, as well as Grammy-nominated cult producer and DJ Hudson Mohawke with his only Scottish date this year.

Also featured on the impressive lineup are techno sensation Skin On Skin, high-energy Australian DJ HAAi, renowned Bulgarian performer KiNK [live], beloved father-daughter team Floorplan and the dynamic London-based Australian duo X CLUB.

Rinse FM’s Jyoty  joins the bill with her vibrant, eclectic selections, as well as award winning multi-talented DJ and producer Nia Archives, rising star Pretty Girl (live) and dance pop duo Nimmo.

With a genre-spanning programmes further acts confirmed include the soulful and sublime Becky Sikasa, Glaswegian post-punks VLURE, award winning breakthrough hip hop artist Bemz, Perthshire indie pop six-piece Parliamo, jazz, RnB, rock and soul quintet Grace & the Flat Boys, emerging rapper Psweatpants, alt-pop duo Love Sick and the riotous Humour.

They are joined by a strong cast of local Scottish electronic music talent, including Harri & Dominic, All Good, Craigie Knowes, Telford & Stevie Cox, Danse Atmos, Celeste, Calowae b2b Mirren, Dannsa, DJ Suzie, Elanda, Emjanero, Glitch 41, Inez, Kairogen, Le Freak & Friends, Polka Dot Disco Club and Voyage with further names to be announced.

Presented by the established Scottish promoters FLY, Otherlands will return to the stately grounds of Scone Palace in the idyllic Perthshire countryside, following on from the hugely successful debut edition last year which has already positioned the event as a key fixture of Scotland’s festival scene.

 This year Otherlands will also be partnering with Boiler Room, promising the thrilling atmosphere that is synonymous with the popular broadcasting platform.

 

Alongside the first-class music programme, Otherlands offers an immersive festival experience with yoga and meditation sessions, comedy acts, talks from industry leaders and hands-on DJ workshops.
