TRNSMT announces eight new acts for 2026 festival in major second wave announcement

Pepsi MAX presents TRNSMT Festival Announces Second Wave of Artists for 2026

  • Beluga Lagoon, Jacob Alon, Brògeal, Keo and more join an already huge lineup featuring Lewis Capaldi, Kasabian and Richard Ashcroft.

Pepsi MAX presents TRNSMT has today unveiled the exciting second wave of artists performing at this year’s festival.

8 new artists will join an already stellar lineup, including headliners Richard Ashcroft, Kasabian and Lewis Capaldi, as well as major artists such as Wolf Alice, Sonny Fodera, Amy Macdonald, CMAT, PERRIE, The Snuts, Loyle Carner andThe Fratellis across three individual days of amazing live music. 

TRNSMT kicks off the summer in style from Friday 19 June to Sunday 21 June, when thousands of music fans will descend on Glasgow Green.

Friday: 

Eight-piece sensation Beluga Lagoon are bringing their epic hits inspired by Scottish landscapes to TRNSMT for the first time, including fanfavourite The Glen, following two back-to-back Barrowland appearances in April.

Saturday:

Kicking off Saturday are Falkirk’s Brògeal, who will open the Main Stage following their eye-catching display on the King Tut’s Stage last year. The folk-punk five-piece are set for two sold-out mega shows at the Glasgow School of Art in April, it comes on the back of their debut album Tuesday Paper Club in October 2025.

Rockers Keo, led by brothers Finn Keogh (vocals) and Conor Keogh (bass) will play the second day following their debut EP Siren, released last June, the musical siblings have a huge 14-date headline tour ahead of their first TRNSMT appearance. Glasgow indie band The Rooks are gearing up for a buzzing home crowd after the release of their latest single Found My Reason Why, and last year’s electric EP Noise & Confusion. 

Also playing Saturday is award-winning Irish trio, Chasing Abbey, renowned for their high energy live shows, blending electronic music with traditional Irish folk sounds and their recent single Aris is Aris became a viral hit in their homeland.  

Sunday: 

BRIT Critics Choice award-winner Jacob Alon will bring their magical folk sound to TRNSMT, the Fife singer gained huge acclaim for their emotive 2025 debut album In Limerence, which earned them the coveted industry award.

Fellow Scots singer-songwriter Billy Reekie is performing on Sunday, following the release of his debut album Strange Times, which dropped earlier this month. 

Finn Forster, who supported former TRNSMT headliners Stereophonics at massive Glasgow shows during Summer Sessions and at the OVO Hydro.

“TRNSMT has always been about discovery – Sam Fender, Lewis Capaldi, Gerry Cinnamon, Becky Hill and Little Simz all being great examples of massive artists debuting early on one of our stages – and this latest announcement ensures fans are going to experience the very best new artists.

“It’s great to see some breakthrough Scottish artists added too, for example the wonderful Jacob Alon who recently won a BRIT award, showcasing some incredible upcoming homegrown talent.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Glasgow Green in June to start the summer in style.”
