TRNSMT STARS AMONGST BRIT AWARDS 2026 NOMINEES
- Skye Newman nominated for breakthrough artist
- Double BRIT winner Lewis Capaldi also amongst nominees
- Wolf Alice nominated for three BRIT Awards
Pepsi MAX presents TRNSMT will play host to a number 2026 BRIT Awards nominees this summer, after TRNSMT stars Lewis Capaldi, Wolf Alice and Skye Newman are amongst those confirmed to be in the running for this year’s prestigious music awards, set to take place on Saturday, February 28 at Manchester’s Co-Op Live
Wolf Alice, who will play on the Main Stage on the Friday (June 19) at TRNSMT have been shortlisted for three awards including the sought-after Album of the Year for their 2025 album ‘The Clearing’, they have also been nominated for Group of the Year and Alternative Rock Act.

Rising star Skye Newman has been shortlisted for two awards, including Breakthrough Artist and Song of the Year for hit ‘Family Matters’. Skye had a huge 2025, where she became the first UK/ British female act in over a decade to chart both her debut singles together in the Top 20, with first single ‘Hairdresseser’ being followed by huge hit ‘Family Matters’, Skye was recently awarded Radio1’s Sound of 2026.
Two-time BRIT award-winner Lewis Capaldi is also back in the running to add to his glittering collection of achievements, nominated in the Song of the Year category for comeback single ‘Survive’ the Scots mega-star made a sensational comeback to the stage last summer which included two incredible sold-out shows at the SSE Hydro. His powerful return single ‘Survive’ rocketed to Number 1 in the charts, this was followed by emotional ballad ‘Something in The Heavens’ which peaked at Number 3.
Clementine Douglas who will take to the stage on Saturday (June 20) has received two nominations for her vocals on last year’s floor-filling dance hit ‘Blessings’ alongside Calvin Harris, the pair have been nominated for Song of the Year and Dance Act of the Year.

Female rockers, The Last Dinner Party, have been nominated for Group of the Year, the popular band are set to take to the stage on a Saturday day slot, their nomination comes following the success of their second album ‘From the Pyre’
Loyle Carner has been nominated for Hip hop/Grime/ Rap Act following the release of his 2025 album ‘Hopefully’, the South London multi-talented artist has been making waves and is set to play on Saturday (June 20) at the festival.
