Bearded Theory announce even more quality acts to an already incredible line up. Festival of the year for sure
With only 3 months to go before the summer festival season launches, the 15th Bearded Theory, at Derbyshire’s Catton Hall promises to be the bar setter for 2024.
On the back of a brilliant 3 days in 2023, where the sun shone and included the likes of Echo & The Bunnymen, Public Service Broadcasting, Primal Scream, The Pretenders, Yard Act, Gary Numan and Interpol, the festival has just announced the final line-up.
Added to an already star studded cast which includes Jane’s Addiction, Dinosaur Jr, Amyl & The Sniffers, Sleaford Mods, Future Islands, Orbital, and Bob Vylan, the organisers have just added Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Therapy, Soft Play, Dry Cleaning, Chameleons, Les Savy Fav, Baxter Dury, BC Camplight, Lambrini Girls and Bodega.
Drilling down the full festival bill you’ll also find many brilliant bands old and new such as The Meffs, Pip Blom, Panic Shack, The Orb, His Lordship, The March Violets, Penetration, Ist Ist, Viji, LIINES, Meryl Streek, Problem Patterns, Hot Wax, Bis, Riskee & The Ridicule and Random Hand.
It’s a fabulous family festival with plenty of non-music stuff to do as well. With it’s slot at the beginning of the GCSE and A Level examination schedule it’s also noticeably free of feral youngsters in designer wellies, intent on getting smashed, so the vibe is great. Facilities on-site are also first rate.
