The Line Of Best Fit

There is no stopping Sea Girls when it comes to dropping new music! Following the release of their UK Top 3 debut album only a few weeks ago, the band have written and recorded the brand new track ‘Accident Waiting To Happen’.

Fast and furious even by Sea Girls standards, it is the perfect indie workout. The track will feature exclusively on the forthcoming worldwide release of new XBox game ‘Dirt 5’ at the end of the month, alongside Stormzy and The Killers, touring cohorts Foals and The Mysterines, and label mate Yungblud.

With critical acclaim and a riotous live UK following, this year saw Sea Girls postpone Sold Out shows at London’s Roundhouse and Brixton Academy. Unphased, the band released their debut album Open Up Your Head on Polydor in August, reaching Number 3 in the UK Official Album Charts and Number 1 on the UK Official Record Store Chart. Seeing their own chart battle commence, holding the number 2 spot until the last 24 hours before nestling nicely alongside Biffy Clyro and Taylor Swift in the Top 3.

One of the highest chart positions of a debut album released in 2020, it’s a far cry from the band’s beginnings as rival bands at school.

Sea Girls have created a debut album that is stunning, uplifting, ferociously reflective and most importantly brutally honest, proving to be exactly what we all need right now. A band aiming first and foremost at being the torch-bearing sing-along for the new generation and a band trading, at its core, in what may seem the simplest of sciences. Turn everything up a notch, write anthems to throw yourselves into and be that soundtrack for the best nights of people’s lives when they return.

2021 will see Sea Girls play their biggest UK and European tours to date:
