A home from home for TOM GRENNAN

TOM GRENNAN declares his love for Glasgow

“Glasgow, my favourite city to come and gig in” was the declaration from the main man for the evening. TOM GRENNAN was positively bristling as he burst onto the stage of The Hydro in Glasgow and espoused his love of the city before ripping the roof off the building…metaphorically of course!

A short while before the love in the event was opened by Gracey. Warming up the crowd was never going to be an issue as she is already a star in her own right. Hailing from Brighton she has written songs for such pop royalty as Kylie Minogue and Rita Ora. She is here in the present but definitely one with a huge future.

Waiting between support and main act always feels like time has slowed and tonight in Glasgow is no different as the crowd of mainly young girls waited impatiently for Tom Grennan to appear. There was no need to watch the stage as the ear-busting screams left us in no doubt that it was showtime!

An action-packed show included pyrotechnics and much dancing and crowd teasing by Mr Grennan as he whisked through the songs at breakneck speed. “All These Nights“, “Don’t Break the Heart” were amongst a set of absolute bangers and the Glasgow crowd staple of “here we f*****g go!” was delivered by the crowd in the now time-honoured fashion.

All in all, it was a fantastic show by all concerned and everyone went home happy… except a few of the adults on child watch for the night!
