RESCHEDULED 2021 DATES SUPPORTING YUNGBLUD & YOU ME AT SIX ANNOUNCED
Excitable skate park hip-hop that comes to life when the sun goes down” – NME
“The dance act of the future” – BBC Radio 1 Jack Saunders
“Breaking out of Worthing’s pubs and skateparks with a hybrid of hooks” – Dork
“With a sound fuelled by a radioactive immediacy at its core, the band are not ones accustomed to resting on their laurels” – The Line of Best Fit
Fast-rising ones-to-watch NOISY have enlisted drum & bass heavyweight High Contrast on remix duties for their new single ‘24/7’, out now via Island Records.
Alongside the new remix, rescheduled Yungblud and You Me At Six supporting slots on their respective 2021 tours have been announced (dates listed below).
This explosive, jungle-driven, dancefloor weapon offers an elevated listening experience. Introducing a sonic landscape of glitchy vocal and sample chops, mind-bending 808s and thick textured drum breaks, the Welsh-born D&B pioneer has reworked and effortlessly captured the element of escapism that sits at the core of NOISY’s DNA.
Producer, DJ, GRAMMY nominee High Contrast has been at the leading edge of the drum & bass scene for over 15 years. He curated music for the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, has headlined several festivals and is celebrated as one of dance music’s most elite remixers, achieving acclaim for reworks of the likes of Kanye West, Adele, White Stripes and London Grammar.
Before signing with Island Records, NOISY worked alongside each other at their local NHS hospital as cleaners. This did not hinder their uncompromising drive to pursue music, quite the opposite, in fact. Their routine was to record demos during the day, and fine-tune the recordings at night, together, whilst they cleaned the hospital. Their latest EP ‘I Wish I Was A’ is a product of this hard grafting process.
NOISY are a band for the playlist generation. They’re the voice for all the 20-somethings, the weekend warriors spending five days aching only to get back out and do it again. An antidote for the rat race, with a feel-good vibe to match.
