Debut single I LUV U by 17-year-old Robin Ashcroft out 5 February 2021

Hailing from Castlemilk in Glasgow’s Southside, Robin Ashcroft is a very promising young singer songwriter who has been performing since the tender age of 13-years-old. In that time, she’s achieved a great deal, having already played legendary venues like The Barrowlands, King Tuts, as well as scores of Scottish festivals like Glasgow’s Pride Festival (and even in an STV drama!)

Her debut single I LUV U is scheduled for release on 5 February 2021 and was produced by Johnny Madden (BABY STRANGE) and Jamie Holmes (The Lapelles).

Ashcroft has amassed a large and loyal fanbase over the years, thanks to performing covers across her social channels, busking throughout Glasgow (and occasionally on the Glasgow-Edinburgh train with fellow young songwriter Connor Fyfe) and playing gigs, open mic nights and festivals.

The success of local superstar Gerry Cinnamon, who grew up in the same area of Glasgow is a genuine source of inspiration. Ashcroft is renowned for her signature HATS and has been championed as an ‘..amazing young singer songwriter with a BIG voice and exquisite style..”

NEW FOUND SOUND Recommends“..at just 17-years-old Robin Ashcroft’s debut is an Americana-tinged pop-rock gem, a very bright promising young artist”

GLASGOW LIVE “A regular on Glasgow’s live circuit, Robin has big ambitions, passion and drive”
