“Self Help and Fictional Doubts” is the debut album from Dundonian Singer-Songwriter Be Charlotte Out Now

“Self Help and Fictional Doubts” is the debut album from Dundonian Singer-Songwriter Be Charlotte. It’s a 12-track sonic tapestry that seamlessly blends big pop anthems with intimate acoustic moments, showcasing Be Charlotte’s versatility as both a songwriter and performer.

Crafted in home studios from Dundee to Woodstock to Berlin and back. At the core of the album are Be Charlotte’s unmistakable vocals, delivered in her signature Scottish accent, which ground the storytelling with raw authenticity. Each track is a poignant reflection of the human experience, touching on themes of empowerment, resilience, and the quest for identity in an ever-changing world.

“It feels like the right time. From the very song first I wrote at the age of 14 I’ve always wanted to create an album that represents who I am and what I stand for. At lot has changed since then, I’ve learnt more about myself and the world around me but the one thing that hasn’t changed is my love for storytelling & songwriting. Writing songs has always been my way to cope with whatever’s going on, it’s a lifeline for me and I hope that these songs can give that same feeling to anyone listening. I’ve always loved listening to albums in full that tell a story right from the first song to the last and that’s what I’ve tried to create with this body of work. There’s songs about the good moments, the difficult times and everything in between.”
