BOY GEORGE STARS IN TABOO’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY CHARITY SHOW AT THE LONDON PALLADIUM

AUDIENCE BROUGHT TO THEIR FEET

Cultural icon Boy George brought the house down on Sunday and Monday night for the 20th anniversary charity show of his stage musical ‘Taboo’, transforming into legendary performance artist/fashion designer Leigh Bowery in dazzling costume. The show-stopping spectacle was all in aid of Shelter and Terrence Higgins Trust charities.

The generation-defining production went stateside to Broadway after opening in London’s West End in 2002, before returning to the UK in 2010 for a run in Brixton. Over the years it has starred the likes of Julian Clary , Luke Evans, Matt Lucas and Marylin.

Twenty years on from its debut, many of the cast members made a return for this anniversary appearance, and there is now a huge demand for its comeback.
